a hairband to be exact. no metal piece or anything, she chewed it in half and the next thing I know it's gone.

Should I be freaking out or just watching her to make sure she doesn't start acting weird?

You should put her out of your misery now.

I wouldnt freak out..This guy eats my wifes underwear and dress socks...They come back up eventually..I dont know if he gets them out of the dryer while we arent looking or out of the bedroom..He thinks he is sneaky, i just laugh at him when he is throwing them up in the living room..I think i officially have the dumbest dog

I don't know how many ponytail holders my cat has swallowed. He also likes to eat the leather tails off those tiny fake furry mice...so either one day he's going to explode or he's just fine.

My dog has been known to eat rocks, ocasionally gets into the trash and digs out vegie cans and chews them up and she loves chewing up and eating towels. So far...she has been just fine. I just watch her tummy for signs of an obstruction (tenderness, swollen spots, etc) for about a week.

Good Luck!!!

I'd only be worried if the hairband was Poison.

Now that there, that's a good post.

Kitty will either throw it up or it'll wind up in the litter box.

No need to worry.

Why do you people feed your cats? No wonder they are eating these hair accessories!

It looks like your dog has laid claim to a silver hair dryer and the cord is trailing out of his mouth. Or are those a pair of really strange panties?

my dog ate glitter one time, I didn't stick around to see what color her poo turned out.

Shiny poo...something you never hear a lot about.

Nope, thats what was left of a football...Im thinking it might be a jelousy thing with the wife coming in to the house, because this is his work also..

Our Basset thinks he's a goat. He's hacked up socks before. Sometimes I catch him looking around for something to eat as he puts paper, leaves, or lots of grass in his mouth.

I hope she bounces back from that.

Isn't the danger here that the cat would poop out "poop on a rubber band" that would repeatedly bounce back and hit the cat's arse, startling it, causing it to run, thereby stretching the rubber band and restarting the whole vicious cycle? Your cat could end up starving to death after running a few miles chased by its own poop.

And somewhere in here, the second law of thermodynamics could be breached, and if that happens the turrists have wun.
