So some of you know that Dad is a Washington season ticket holder. He's not a big fan of UW or anything, but he loves his football and lives in the area.

Anyhow, he's setting up at his usual tailgate spot (which we're all welcome to hang at next year, by the way) and he's having trouble with the new tent. This dude walks up and offers to help. While he's helping, they start talking about Locker's development as a QB and Washington's team. This dude is giving just STELLAR insight to the UW program.

Anyhow, when they're done, Dad introduces himself. Dude says "Please to meet you, Jim. I'm Sonny Sixkiller."

Just thought that was cool.

There's the pic. Yeah, I know. Dad's short.

Too bad he wasn't hanging out with Billy Joe Hobart too. It turns out UW just has their legendary QB's wandering around helping tailgaters.

Very cool Mike, i'm gonna have to ask him if they are family.

All-american QB for UW in the 70s who later went on to play for the Rams then the CFL. One of the first Native Americans to play QB at the D-1 level.

He came somewhere after Jim Thorpe and before Sam Bradford
