A guy i have known for a long time died earlier this week; another guy i went to school with had a horrible car crash and is in pretty bad shape in St John's, and another guy i'm friends with just found out he has cancer in his esophagus and they are going to have to do a very risky surgery on Tuesday to remove it and make him a new esophagus; please keep my friends Joey and Vernon in your thoughts and prayers.

Just wanted to let people know that my friend Joey that was in the bad car wreck passed away this morning at the age of 40; his funeral is Saturday at 2; his older brother Ronnie was one of my best friends in high school and we are still good friends and he has now lost both his brothers to tragic car accidents about 10 years apart, if that long; please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers

Wow. Very sorry for you and especially for your friend Ronnie and his family.

Continuing with the depressing (slight hijack, sorry tulsaoiler!), people, if you're upset with your wife of less than a year, divorce her or something. Murdering a 22 year-old and then turning the gun on yourself isn't the answer. The young woman and her husband were found by the police with the help of the girl's mother. Both the young lady and her parents were former members of our church. Just horrible.
