Let me tell you what, Big XII sure does suck.......

5. Good Guys, 8. Jayhawks, 9. Mizzery, 12. Whorn

Despite Texas sucking as we all see it, they sure are climbing. We drop one spot but it still looks very good for us.

The problem is that it doesn't really matter how high OU's opponents are ranked in the human polls (which account for 2/3 of the BCS score). While it makes for interesting talk around the water cooler, OU doesn't get any more or less BCS points out of the human poll for having other conference teams ranked high. They matter in the computer polls, in that the strength of schedule is used as part of the calculation. Right now, most of the computer polls still have OU about 10th.

KU and MU play each other, so one of them will fall (and probably REALLY fall) after that game.

Then, the winner will have to play OU in the CCG, so there's another loss.

UT will lose at least one more game.

Sorry, Sooners, but OU has no shot of getting picked over a 1 loss LSU team and probably a 1 loss Oregon team. Michigan must beat OSU, BC must lose (which they will), and ASU must lose (which they might). The stars really need to align for you to get a bid. Right now, it ain't looking likely.

Of course, all this assumes you win out, which isn't a foregone conclusion.

Oregon loss to Cal in week 5. The second part I don't knowProlly because they kicked Meatchicken's backside, and convincingly whupped a suc team yesterday, that should have been motivated.
Their game with ASU next week will be a fun one to watch, IMO.

Its alright, we will be back up after next week. We were just forgotten. OU better bring there A game though and pound A&M into the ground. I am talking 50 60 points to get those pollsters thinking.... DAMN.

Let's see, we were 4th and played bye and won........Oregon beats a hollow USC team and jumps us? Is that blown call against us last year giving Oregon a bogus victory, biting us in the a$$?

Expected.

BC, Oregon, and LSU should all lose before the end of the season. What I really don't want is ASU in the Fiesta, or LSU in the Sugar. Home games against either one would be a bitch.

True, that would suck.

I do agree somewhat, but I'd much rather play those teams than face some crappy Hawaii team.

If we play Hawaii we have nothing to gain. If we win, it was expected and if we lose we're the nation's laughing stock. In short, its a replay of the Boise St fiasco last year.
