The computers and SOS of other conferences are taking a hit. That helps.

Can you believe that November will arrive and Kansas is in the national title discussion while USC is making Holiday or Sun Bowl plans? What a crazy season.

Kansas and Mizzou should both be in the top 10 with us when the polls are released. I'm glad to see some of the North teams playing well for a change.

If the Coaches and the Harris poll stay the same we will move up in the computer polls and jump Oregon and/or ASU. My fear is they move both teams up in the human polls. But i think we move into the top 10 in the computers.

I watched most of the Cal-ASU game and Cal had little defense and were overrated to begin with. ASU looks solid on both sides of the ball and reminds a bit of OU.

Ohio State will get pawned again if they make it to the BCS title game.

The Big Ten is pathetic and the SEC is always full of damned fun to watch games even if you don't follow the conference closely.

Is there a possibility that WV passes in the BCS poll? They won impressively and will earn points.

Just a guess, but when the BSC comes out I think it will look like this.

#1 OSU
#2 BC
#3 ASU
#4 LSU
#5 Oregon
#6 KU
#7 WV
#8 OU

I think the bye will hurt us instead of help us. IMHO

Officially concerned about the Ducks here and their impact on OU's BCS standing....I know they have the showdown with ASU at home and @UCLA, but they were impressive in beating the condoms yesterday.

I'm not overly concerned about the Ducks or ASU. One of them will take care of the other next week. Since it is at Autzen, I think Oregon has to be the prohibitive favorite. And that at least takes care of one of the unbeatens. I think Oregon's last two games are problematic. The Oregon State rivalry game could jump up and bite 'em.

But even then, so what if they don't lose? What if we don't lose? What if Ohio State and LSU and others do lose?

That is to say... Who'd like a little get back from those cheatin' Duck bastages?

But I also agree with the other posts... All of the other conferences took big hits to their SOS, while ours gained some credibility. Mizzou and Tex winning were important.

Oh, and if Bama does pull the upset this Saturday... The entire SEC is O-U-T OUT!!!

And I will smile.

Yes... yes I will.
