Holy mackerel, this might be the craziest ending to a college football game ever. Even more bizarre than the '82 Stanford-Cal finish and it happened today in Jackson, Miss.:

That might be the longest football play ever. Guaranteed to be on Sportscenter tomorrow.

That was awesome!

The reason that worked when so many others have not: PATIENCE. Trinity always kept lots of players BEHIND the ball and were not afraid to go backwards, even way back, and to switch the field just to keep the play alive. It reminded me of a soccer team (yes) playing for possession. (of course it was MORE like rugby, but anyway.....)

Serious contender for Homer call of the week and I don't blame them one bit. Amazing play.

If a football laterals in a forest, but nobody is there to witness it...

I was reading through the youtube comments that Millsap's coach is Mike Dubose, former head coach at Alabama.....how the mighty have fallen.

I like how some of the defenders quit playing on that last lateral, several standing around right by the guy while he ran it in. Don't quit on a play until the guy is on the ground.

That is remarkable. And the team that got scored on deserved what they got. If they'd put out any effort, they could've stopped it. Much of the time it looked like their guys were standing around waiting for someone else to make a play.
