View Full Version : TTech really sucking today at home against CU.

Anyone else watching this? I really think that, if our secondary gets its act together, we should win this in a walk in a few weeks.

TTech is letting CU rip off some major chunks of yards...and are doing next to nothing themselves.

You can bet they will be jacked up and on the money when they play us. Freaking sickening. Although they will probably come back and win this one.

I watched most of the 1st quarter. Tech couldn't tackle to save their lives. We should be able to pass to the TEs and get some major yardage in the running game and yards after catch.

I thought we played Texas A&M next.

It doesn't matter how these teams perform against others, count on everyone we face to get up and give us their best shot.

These teams will hang their hat on a upset of us regardless of what their record is, that is how OSU fans think as well as others.

But with Tech's offense (although sluggish today), I wouldn't be surprised to see them come back and beat Colorado easily.

Who was worried about TTech? They aren't playing well. It doesn't matter. Whenever OU plays a team, it brings out their best against us. We still can't take them for granted.

They're not our toughest opponent left. I think its O State.

I think we should take TT very seriously because teams play their best games against OU and we just can't take them for granted.

the main reason i worry about Tech is that we play them in Lubbock

if we were playing Tech in Norman and OSU in Stoolwater i'd be more worried about the Pokes

CU is a decent team...we as OU fans should know this...........by now

Where are you getting that info about DJ Wolfe? He came to OU for the last half of his senior year from a high school in OK. He transferred to a high school from Colorado not from CU.

I'm thinking Baylor will be a tougher game than will OSewe.

Think about it... we're all jacked up to play at Tech, we kinda stink it up again, but still kinda win comfortably. After a win (or God forbid a loss at Tech), we roll the pOSUrs and hold their "World's Greatest Offense" to 14 or less.

OU 55 aTm 10
OU 24 BU 13
OU 41 TT 38 (Garrett hartley finally comes through the slump)
OU 65 aggy 14

[/fingers crossed]

I believe its a joke referencing the commentary during the OU/CU game a few weeks back.

Leach needs to realize that his beloved spread offense will never contend for a championship;it will be good for 7-8 wins every year, but that's all

Why are we talking about the tortilla chunkers?

We need to be talking about the Southern Aggies.

If they can beat Missouri next week, they should finish 8-4 and possibly ranked.

If we can get our ground game going successfully keeping Tech's offense on the bench, we should be alright.

But tell me, Mark Rodgers, why does OU have absolutely no chance to win in Lubbock?

Because Mark Rodgers is a total doosh-rocket with a walnut sized brain.

If you are on the coaching staff then I recommend you go ahead and gameplan for A&M.:P

I still think TT because it's in Lubbock is our biggest hurdle before the CCG but I'm a lot less concerned than I was before.

During the CU game the play by play guy for Fox started off saying that DJ transferred to OU from CU about 3-4 times before he corrected himself and said that DJ transferred from Colorado to Oklahoma during high school. Announcer faux pas tend to be things of humor around here.

I hope you are right. I don't think Iowa State or CO are that good either.

I hope you are right. I don't think Iowa State or CO are that good either.Neither are all that but ISU did beat Iowa and Colorado is pretty salty!

As a matter of fact, I'd bet Colorado cracks the top 25 before the end of the year.

Missouri lost Pig Brown for the season in the ISU game Sat. He was hands down their best player on defense in a secondary that is pretty shallow. MU could very easily lose in Colorado next week, in which case Colo will be ranked. Of course that means MU drops so it doesn't do anything for our SOS.
