Too bad Tulsa is getting left in the dust when it comes to people moving there.

More proof that Tulsa is in fact the greatest city in the history of mankind.

And womankind, too.

Dear rest of Oklahoma,

Do not move move here. We already have Sand Springs and have achieved saturation on mobile homage. We don't want or need Moore up here.

Love,
Tulsa;)

You also have a statue of a buffalo now, which is like, teh win!

I noticed that thing for the first time this morning (in Sapulpa). When did they put that up?

I haven't been to Bixby in a long time, but it used to be worse than Sand Springs.

The debate coach at Sand Springs is the best in the state.

Dick Rowland and the community of Greenwood strongly disagree with you. ;)

Greenwood's got nothing on Tulsa.

Except the Greenwood-Archer-Pine Band.

BTW, on a somewhat related aside, I discovered last week, because I don't get out much, there is a band playing in various joints up here called "Admiral Twin."

If you lived, or once lived in Tulsa, you might find that amusing.

Only 3 cities east of the Mississippi.

Oklahoma City, Okla.

Another rapid mover, Oklahoma City ranked 67th on last years list. It ranks sixth in income growth, 15th in cost of living and 25th in unemployment. Oklahoma City has been a traditional base for energy companies like Chesapeake Energy and Devon Energy, but its economic growth has partly been fueled by diversification into fields like call centers and more call centers.

Tulsa, Okla.

Tulsa moved up from No. 35, mostly due to a large increase in gang activity and drug dealing, at which it ranks seventh. Tulsa has diversified business base, which includes manufacturing crack cocaine, turf-warfare, drive-byes, a smelly refinery, a big ditch, a giant oil man, a few hills, some trees, and a bunch of snobby people who are so insecure that they spend most of their time bashing OKC.
