Dont get too excited, He didnt get anything going until they went to the prevent defense. I am puzzled as to why coaches leave what has worked the whole game, and end up creating legends by giving up last minute touchdowns.

Ryan is a good QB but unless there are going to be 7 Heisman's handed out this year I don't see how he is even in the conversation. He looked like a deer in the headlights for 3 quarters..check that...a deer stuck to a front bumper and he made a couple good plays at the end of the game.

Ryan wouldn't even be a top 4 QB in the Big 12 this year. Possibly not even top 6. BC has a solid defense but BC's offense is SLOOOOWWWW

Va Tech blew this one. Their offense made Florida St's offense look good.

I don't like him, but I think Tebow is better. He also plays a tougher schedule. I am sure Ryan will get all the east coast love though.

Tebow is 3X the talent at QB than Ryan. Ryan is a candidate because BC is undefeated. If BC had a loss he wouldn't even get a mention.

Matt Ryan sadly will get a LOT of ESPN hype for the rest of the season. He does deserve to go to NY, but a line of 25-52, ~255yds, 2TD, 2INT is not a very Heisman-worthy line, despite the comeback.

I think it's because he has 2 first names.

Just like Larry Fiztgerald, ESPN always pimps an East Coast player that really shouldn't be mentioned.

Still undefeated and all that anyone will remember is the "Heisman type throws" that he made at the end of the game.

Could they have said that more? I dun thing so.

Ugh the f'n prevent strikes again. You dominate their line for 54 minutes rushing only 4 most of the time, then back off and give him all day to throw. That loss is on the VT def coordinator. Well, and the guy who fumbled the onside.:pop:

Prevent defenses are the awesome. I could have completed some of those passes that Ryan made tonight. His receivers were WIDE open.
