After further review, replays should be done away with in college football. Yes, I am pulling for Va. Tech, but that was one of the worst instant replay decisions (upholding the td) I have ever seen. He did not have possession in bounds, not even close.

Not withstanding the unbelievable onside muff, Va Tech's coaching gave this game away. That prevent D was a perfect example of why it shouldn't be used. The field gets spread too much. Even if nobody's open the qb has too much room to run for 1st downs. And if he can scramble even a little the secondary can't cover all day and some receiver WILL get open. Those last 2 BC drives reminded me so much of some of our games. VT was pressuring all night and shutting them down and then goes into the prevent to give the game away. Unbelievable. BC #2? That's a joke. Look at their schedule and who've they've played. VT gift wrapped this one for them.

I wouldn't worry about BC, they will lose 1-2 more games. Now that Va. Tech. is out of the way, I say its "still" OU vs. West Virginia. Oregon is the only other team to worry about if they beat USC.

For what it is worth.....

Va Tech was ahead of us in every computer poll. I think we will pass them next week, but who knows. By moving up 1 spot in each computer, we would now be #4 in the BCS, by very small % pts.

Needless to say, a lot of games have to be played this week, plus another 5 wks.

So again, it may be worthless info, but Va Tech is now out of the picture and I think we all feel pretty sure BC will lose to someone in the ACC. Especially going to Clemson or ACC Championship.
