little girl. Unfortunately for the kid, my niece succumbed to trendification in the naming department. I think the little filly is named Madison Taylor Lastname or some such similar BS. oh well.

WITNOATH do people do that?

We thought we were being trendy 10 years ago when we named our beautiful girl Madison. Not so much.

I've got two "great"-nieces, daughters of my niece also. They are a hoot, and refer to me as Uncle, and I have to remind myself that I'm on the same tier as a grandfather. :eek:

They came down to Dallas with their mom to visit last summer. Spent the weekend in the pool and playing with the lab and just having fun. As they were getting ready to leave, the youngest, who was 3 at the time, asked her mom, "Can we stay here forever?"

My niece says, "No, we have to go back to our home."

Greatniece responds, :les: "YOU SAID WE COULD!!!!"
