It was better than the one with the stupid whales in it.

It was better than the one with the stupid whales in it.

That statement is illogical. The rule is:
Even Numbered Star Trek Movies > Odd Numbered Star Trek Movies

My mom loves the ones with the whales. Nuclear Wessels.

V sucked as far as acting and directing were concerned...but the plot of the religious con man hit really close to home at the time it was released.

As far as the odd numbers vs even numbers thing...I agree with the exception of Generations.

p.s. Am I the only one who laughs where, in Star Trek I, McCoy beams on board wearing a ****load of 70's style Mr. T medallions?

Really? I haven't seen it in forever either but I always thought it was excruciatingly boring. And that robotic Kojak chick? Yuck.

Are you sure it's not time for a colorful metaphor?

II was my favorite, followed by VI.

Generations was ok, mostly becasue of Malcolm McDowell.

Am I remembering the correct crazy genius-villain?

If there are no Klingons in the movie then it's probably gonna suck.

Kilngons usually stick around.
