I don't personally think that anyone who has some input, serious or fun, should be getting slammed on a Sooner board for participating. Trolls are one thing, but differences in sense of humor or the way they word things shouldn't be automatic banishment and alienation.

We're all fans other than the weekly opponent trolls and the occasional doomsayer, but for the most part we are Sooners and need to stick together. And Noobs are what we all were on our first few posts. Now we just have different ways of seeing things and expressing ourselves and we should all respect each other even if for no other reason than the brotherhood we share.

I work..A LOT! I'm a laser engraver for a trophy and awards company that also does photography and I seem to always get stuck with more than the engraving side.

Other than that I hang out with my wife and kids, (one of which is a 14 month old future Sooner Linebacker) goof around on a few net sites, watch a lot of news, watch crime shows and comedy central, watch movies, read a book every day or 2, and let fellow posters know they only missed one of the letters in debauchery!

For those of you who suck at the innerweb i'll make this real simple.

In this case, a n00b isn't necessarily someone with a low post count. Although it can and is sometimes used to describe a new member of any discussion board, the more appropriate term is newb and or newbie. A newbie may add value to said discussion and in generally atleast make an attempt not to suck at the innerweb. A n00b is someone who sucks at the innerweb and/or life. They may or may not be a troll. They don't provide anything to the discussion. They don't know how to use the search function, or don't care if they're posting a thread that someone else (or 5 other fellow *********s) have already started.

It's okay to be upset on the board, it's not okay to be a complete *** about it. We're all upset when the team loses or plays bad, but we don't need to see you being a retard about it. We don't need to see 5 threads calling out a coach or playing and being disrespectful of them.

It's okay to ask questions or take part in a discussion, but atleast look on the first couple pages to see if that discussion has or is already occuring.

In short, don't be a complete moronic ****tard *********. Make the mod/admins life easier, and you fellow posters board experience more enjoyable.

The terms of not being a n00b are pretty simple and easy to understand. Failure to understand them can result in many things. Some members may just ignore you. Some members may neg bomb you. A mod might bane you from posting for a time length they determine. Or we might just go off on your *** and make you wish you were never born.

Simply remember 1 thing about this site. At Soonerfans.com we do eat our own.

Let me expound a little on what 93 is trying to tell people like you:

1. You dribble a basketball. This ain't spelling smack, this is just common knowledge.

2. It has been stated NUMEROUS times in this thread that your post count has nothing to do with your nOObness. Why are you still talking about post count?

3. Saying something moronic does not = "having a well thought out or relevant opinion." Even if YOU think it does.

4. A life, a wife, and education has nothing to do with somebody's nOObness. Being a ****tard does.

If you're going to survive on this board, you're going to need to learn to play the game. If you don't like the game, you shouldn't play. Some pointers:

Coming on here and saying "Wilson needs to pull his head out of his stinkhole" or "Venables couldn't coach tiddlywinks" or "Loadholt is a fag" isn't playing the game. It's not having a "legitimate and valid opinion." It's being a stupid nOOb who deserves to have his head ripped off and feces dumped down his neck.

Coming on here starting new threads when there's already 5 threads on the same topic isn't playing the game. It's being a LAZY-assed nOOb. Don't know how to use the search function? Nothing wrong with that, just peruse the first page or two of the board and then if you can't find a thread with the same topic go ahead and start a new one.

Finally, this board is unique. A lot of us here actually know each other. We have tailgates that everybody is welcome to attend. nOObs included. If you don't "get" an inside joke, or feel like you're not in the "clique" either accept it, or get to know some of the people who post here. It's not hard.
