So the chick I live with(girlfriend of my other roommate) has joined the Mary Kay legion. He activities since then are starting to scare me a little bit. Is this going to be as bad as living with an Amway believer?

probably depends on the person.

My aunt sells it, mainly because she wants easy access to certain products of theirs. She mainly sells it to my mom, her sisters and friends. Basically, they just call her when they need something.

their HQ building is about a mile from my house - for a "scam" organization, thats a BIG DAMN building

she's been around A VERY LONG time - i think there's more credibility there than you think

The Amway people are very rich too. Doesn't make it less of a scam though.

i'm just saying that her product is pretty well recognized - its not the same type of sales deal that amway is

There are parts of Amway that I don't like...but face it, the system works if you have the drive to make it work. The products still rawk though.

A friend of ours at church was one of the first 50 women in Mary Kay. She owns an entire cul-de-sac in Colleyville (very expensive suburb), and built a home on it for each of her children.

Here, children. I've built a nice home right next to me so we can be together. Forever and ever. Mommy loves you.Maybe they all have other homes, as well. Not nearly as creepy if that's the case.
