I'm calling around to get prices on 6'x8' fence panels and I need them delivered as well (I'd have a hard time strapping them on top of Camry). One place has really good prices for the panels, but they want $140 for delivery from S OKC to N Norman. They've lost their damn minds. I mean really. Most places want $35-40, which I don't have a problem paying, but $140?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I called back to verify it was ONE HUNDRED forty, and then laughed at the lady.

the purchase of a small "runner truck" is in my plans for the very near future. like the first of the year. but I need my fence before then.

why don't you just sucker...I mean convince someone you know with a truck to help you with it by promising good foods and carbonated alcoholic beverages for their assistance?

oh and i am a big proponent for the "runner" truck
although, mine seems to be on constant loan
I agree with Yermon, rent a truck. You can get either a moving van/truck or check Enterprise, they rent pickups, as well.
$40 - 75$ in rental fees is much cheaper.....

Most of the places in OKC charge $35-40, I'll probably just do that. I just can't imagine someone actually trying to charge $140 for just a few miles delivery of 7 panels.
