I love Dr. Pepper, I drink it all the time. The commercial was cool and funny for the first few games.
But now I'm beginning to get p***ed.

I like that commercial. Watching a fat guy try to do the worm is hilarious to me.
The Big XII conference commercial is retarded on many levels. I mean, first it's just a terrible commercial. And there's no point to running it. I mean, who and what are we advertising? Is it to recruit students to Big XII schools? that's primarily a function of geography, scholarship offers, and academic programs. I can't think of a single student that would be swayed in their college choice by what athletic conference a school belongs to.
Is it to increase TV viewership of Big XII athletic events? Also dumb; people watching Big XII games either already ARE fans of a Big XII school or they're intrigued by the matchup. If the second is the case, they're not going to magically start watching Big XII games just because of what conference the teams are in. Complete waste of money.

You see, I agreed with you the first 973 times I saw the commercial. My issue is the fact that the commercial airs twice during every break.

Honestly, between that and the Dr. Pepper commercials where people are "drinking" cakes, pies, and jelly beans, I may never drink Dr. Pepper again.

I'm pretty sure that those two commercials plus the Dr Pepper commercial are the only ones they show during OU games.

I vote no more fat guy DP commercial; however, my 14 year old laughs at it every time. I guess the question is, "Who is buying all the DP?" Sonic dudes and cavemen are both funny, but, the may be less funny if the played the same commercial 8 million times. At least they change theirs up every time. It would be hilarious if Tommy Harris came along and jacked the fat DP dancer about halfway through his butt bump part of his dance. :D

The Sonic Dudes are awesome.
I won't say anything bad about Dr. Pepper or their commercials since the nasty tasting crap was invented in Waco, their CEO is a Baylor grad, and they are Baylor's biggest single sponsor. This campus is awash with Dr. Pepper, so much so that several times during the summer they just randomly set up Dr. Pepper vendors around campus and pass the stuff out for free. I drink it because it's free.

Your Diet DP commercial is even more stupid. What makes you think a commercial that shows people downing cans of jelly beans and cherry pie with a big slogan "There's nothing DIET about it" is really going to sell "DIET" sodas?
P.S. Get a new commercial... the fat guy dancing got old after we saw it twice every commercial break against UNT. Hell, I'll go buy me a DP right now and I'll send in the surveillance video of me putting my money in the machine.
