Probably not but it feels great!

2 weeks ago I had to trade my truck in for an old '87 model pete, 475 CAT, 15 speed, anyway, that's beside the point. The seat was real UNcomfortable. It was set at like a 90 degree angle and I felt like I was sitting on a park bench.

Well, I drove that old truck for 4 days and I noticed all the pain in my back was gone and my toes in my left foot were no longer numb. Usually Sat. morning I lay and bed but that did not happen. I figure, it had to be the seat. So I get my truck back from the shop and I set the seat to make it as uncomfortable as possible, and it has been working! So i'm back in the saddle again. If'n I weren't married I'd be telling the young ladies to give me a call.

Oh hell no, those fruitcakes would hate me. Everytime I grabbed a gear in that truck, smoke would start pouring out of the stacks.

It was a real thing of beauty.

That thing had a weird (to me) transmission. 5 on the low side, 5 on the high side, and you could split the lower gears into deep reduction, so 15 gears total. Plus, it shifted in a U pattern, unlike most which are shifted in an H pattern.

My truck is pretty simple...5 gears on the low side, 5 on the high side, shift in an H pattern.

I'm kind of drunk so I hope I splained that right.

I picked up a 100 ton crane that was a 15 speed, but it was lo/med/hi 1-15 h pattern. 1/lo was like .000001 mph full throttle, so you could actually start out in 4th. The other's have all been EF's 10spd h's.

Maybe the uncomfortable seat makes you sit with good posture and that helps your back?

I have bad posture when I sit and a bad back... hmmm...

No, just didn't know you had experience operating them. The little ones aren't too bad, but you get 150'+ of stick in the air and it takes months, if not years to learn to operate. Your not talking about Belgar are ya?
