you really needed to start a thread for this?

Well, CU just missed on 4th down. So I think I will say, "Go Jayhawks!!"

I want KU to win out. We get very little credit for beating Mizzou again in the Big 12 champ game, and an undefeated KU is the best way to prove ourselves on the national stage again.

KU's defense is legit. Their unit is better than ours right now, no doubt about it.

Are you sure you aren't a Jayhawk in disguise?

I'd wait for Kansas to play an offense with a pulse before annointing them the greatest D in the conference.

I was rooting for KU. I want them to play OU in the Big 12 Championship game.

It probably worked out best. CU played them close, which makes our loss there more understandable.

It appears that our best computer scenario would be for MU to win all but against KU and KU be unbeaten going into the CCG.

A&M helped by winning and since we don't play KSU this year, we  probably should pull for sheep aggie to win.

I always root for OSU when they're not playing us. They're Oklahomans, too. Rather odd Oklahomans, maybe. But Oklahomans, just the same.

ah - now I see why you are in in red.

It sometimes ticks me off, though, when all of our players flood across the Red River to play for Texas teams.

OU was up 24-7 in the second half. That loss is not even remotely understandable or acceptable.

Agreed. A lot of apologists come up with BS like "reggie smith lost the game with his fumble" but thats crap. Losing that kind of lead against a mediocre team like Colorado under those circumstances indicates problems at multiple levels.

But the Reggie Smith fumble was the point at which I said to myself, "we're going to find a way to lose this game."

So how did we beat Texas and Missouri?

Me too.

That's because OU didn't want them. Most kids in Oklahoma want to play for OU. I noticed there were a few from OKC on Iowa State's team.

This one went just as I expected it would.
