I liked the story of the locker room speech Bud gave the '56 team at halftime in Colorado (featured in the book "The Undefeated."). He said something to the effect of "You don't deserve to wear these uniforms; great players before you wore these uniforms and you don't deserve to wear them," and made them take them off. It's pretty much all he said, then they put the unis back on and took care of business in the second half.

NO ONE is playing well at the moment, not just Bradford. He has been off but that interception was not his fault, if you hit a guy in the numbers (literally), it is his fault for not catching the ball. The defense is playing average at best, the only time they show anything is with ISU near the goal line.

Am I happy because we have played like **** and are down to a downright horrible team? Obviously not. Its not what is said as much as the manner in which it is said.

Am I happy because we have played like **** and are down to a downright horrible team? Obviously not. But that does not mean that I am going to dis my team or be ashamed to be a Sooner or any other such crap. Every team has bad days. This season has been chock full of them. The great news is that we have 30 more minutes of football to get our game sorted out and we are playing a horrible team.
