OU/ISU - FSN HD - DirecTV

I am a little confused, and good luck on trying to get a hold of a DirecTV representative, so I'm asking yall. Last week, channel 643 on DirecTV blacked-out.........with phone in hand I was on hold waiting to cuss them out. After 20 mins of waiting, the picture came in...........as far as I know 643 has always been in the clear with my basic package.

So today while scanning, 643 is in the clear but the HD channel of 647 has a "channel not purchased". :pop:

I am not sure but you can see the game on Ch 95 or 96 (FSN HD). I think you pressed the "ALL HD CHANNEL" and scrolled to 643. Try pressing the ALL TV CHANNEL" (regular SD) and scroll to 643. Might help you out.

If you get the sports package you should be able to get it in HD on one of the many new HD regional sports channels.

95 on my guide shows TBA. I did get the Mizzou game in HD on 95 last week.

I'd forgotten about that.

Sometimes when I'm (fruitlessly) trying to figure out the TV setup at a friend's house (DirecTV or Dish or whatever the hell they have) I long for the old cable box.

It is in HD on FSNSW-HD (643) right now.

It is on mine, what receiver do you have? Do you have sports Pack?

I have a HD receiver, but not the sports pack. How can 643 broadcast in regular and HD signal at the same time. I have one of those band converters too if that helps.

Where are you located? Are you in the FSN-SW service area? Which HD receiver?

643 is listed for both FSNSW and FSNSW-HD, the receiver picks the correct signal, HD has priority over SD.

I am in south central Arkansas, I have a DirecTV h20 receiver and it's set to Native which goes to 420p. I manually change it to 1080i but there is no improvement.

You should be getting it then, not sure why you are not. Call and complain.

I switched mine off Native to 1080i all the time.
