I've been impressed with Jones so far - very accurate and good mechanics.

20 - 22, 252 yds, 1 td, 2 td rushing in the first half. Looks like Sam in the pocket, very composed and throws an accurate ball.

I wonder if he will sign. Wouldn't suprise me if he looked elsewhere considering how well Bradford is playing.

I wonder if he will sign. Wouldn't suprise me if he looked elsewhere considering how well Bradford is playing.

I saw him outside the Switzer Center last week after the Missouri game and he looked like he was having a good time. The reports I've read have indicated he's still a solid OU guy.

Consider that CU was his second choice and they have a freshman qb as well probably helps.

I hope he makes it to OU, the guy looks to be a great QB!

He looked fantastic in the first half. Less so in the second half.

Attention Artesia defense: There's a new invention in American rules football known as "tackling". It's the future. That is all.

I don't know if anyone else noticed or it if was already posted, but this game was almost a three hour OU commercial. They repeatedly commented on this game being a "showcase" of future OU QB Landry Jones. I really enjoyed it and hope a few receivers(Owens and Jones) were watching.

he's been quoted as saying he loves ou and he's coming here no matter what.

obviously he's not playing against very good competition but he has the skills and the size (6'5, 215) to be a very good qb for us.

I think I read that he's got a family connection to OU, but don't quote me on that.
