Pick your conference SAS...
I'm a Big 12 homer you simpleton.

It's just a shadow of what it has been in recent years. Fortunately the Big 10 has taken a hit and the Big East isn't what it used to be.

I pick the SEC! And ESPN will have my back, so screw all of you and your logical thinking!

It's a tad misleading though. We've got 1 team in the top 14 and 5 teams from 15 - 25. Those 5 teams won't all be ranked for long as the conference slate is heating up and they're bound to knock each other out. OU, Saxet & Mizzou deserve top 20 rankings. We'll see on the Sunflower duo and Sand Aggie.

With the likes of Weber State and Sacramento State, Luck is something they don't need. So chew on that for a while. ;)

As those teams ranked 15-25 out, the cream of that crop will rise up the rankings. There's a lot of football to be played.

I think by the end of the season we'll have the most bowl eligible teams and the highest average conference ranking...and that's while agreeing that it's not a glowing year for the Big 12. That alone says a lot.

And some are still saying OUr conference isn't strong enough to produce a National Champion. Versus who? The Big Least? Gimme a break.

baylor is a fringe top 25 team, no?

If so much of the rest of the country keeps putting up such pitiful displays we could end up with everyone ranked! lmao

I think there are 5 pretty decent teams in the Big 12. OU, Mizzou, Tech, Texass, Colorado. If we can all win our bowl games, it will prove this conference is just as good as any other.

If you are hinging respectability on UT winning a bowl game, you better hope they get another crappy team like last year.

I just hope we can win our bowl game. Sure would be nice to win a BCS game again for the first time in 5 years.

Now, when was the last time OU won a bowl game?

This 'The Big XII Conference Is Weak' crap is just that: I big pile of horse squeeze started by ESPN and the SEC media. How do you think the mighty Crimson would do against any of the other conference leaders? Us against LSU, Oregon, South Carolina, Boston College, Ohio State, or South Florida? I guarantee you the schizzo schemes of Mizzou and Tech would befuzzle the likes of Penn State, Cal, Auburn, Virginia Tech, and Rutgers! How about Kansas or K-State against Wisconsin, USC, Tennessee, Florida State, or Louisville? I think our conference teams would match up head to head with all the others pretty damn well! Sure, we got our bottom feeders in Baylor, Iowa State and Puke State, but how about Washington State, Arizona, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Duke, Syracuse, Pitt, Minnesota, and Northwestern? What's hurt the Big XII is bowl performance. We just need to kick some serious rear end this year in the bowls and maybe then we will get some props. BOOMER FRICKIN' SOONER, BABY!

I am going to pat myself on the back right now!

I called Kansas back in August.

Not really to win the big 12, but to be very very good.

Alot of people thought I was crazy

Isn't a common measuring stick out of conference opponents and bowl games?

What marquis out of conference teams did the Big XII play this year?..

Nebraska got billy stomped by USC at home.... Okie Lite lost to Gahja....
Then, there were games against the little sisters of the poor.

To your school's credit, you are scheduling good future opponents and you couldn't anticipate that Miamuh would be donkey fodder this year.

UT has done less on the field than either KU or K-State. And it's not that close.

What's their best win? TCU?

K-State blew it's chance at Auburn.

The best Big XII non-con win is Mizzou's over Illinois. Which is weird for a lot of reasons.
