20 Arizona St
19 Ohio St
18 Virginia Tech
17 West Virginia

Then I looked at AH

By "12", you mean 14th? I think 12 is the total number of points awarded to the 14th place team.

Here's guessing that the Mizzou win over Illinois is the reason they are still ahead of us.

FYI...

KM = Kenneth Massey
http://www.masseyratings.com/

AH = Anderson & Hester
http://andersonsports.com/football/ACF_frnk.html

The points are in reverse order. #1 gets 25 "points", #2 gets 24 "points", so on and so forth.

Both of these computer polls have OU 14th. KM has OU's schedule ranked 63rd (doesn't appear AH site is quite up to date).

Interesting. If you take a look at Jeff Sagarin's ratings (http://www.usatoday.com/sports/sagarin/fbt07.htm) you'll see that his computer ranking is 12th for OU. But if you read the fine print....

He still calculates a poll where margin of victory is used (like in the first few BCS years, prior to 2003 I believe). Guess what the top five of that poll looks like?

1. Oklahoma
2. Ohio State
3. Oregon
4. Kansas
5. West Virginia

Exactly. And we did beat ourselves in the Colorado game. So even though we lost to the Buffs, we did have a win over Oklahoma that same day.

We should be ranked higher.:D

I don't trust the Anderson-Hester crapfest at all. It's no coinicidence that it originated on the West Coast and always has a bunch of Pac-10 teams near the top.

Computer polls are not designed to be that accurate at this point of the season. It will all even out as the season plays out

This is the 10th year of the BCS and you guys still haven't figured this out?
