I think I may quit my job tomorrow.

Well, it will all depend on how the meeting goes. If it doesn't go the way that it should, then it's gonna be adios for me.

Life is too short to have to deal with office politics dealios. Especially when they're being manipulated and mangled and made into humongous mountains and I'm left to clean up the mess.

Oh hell. The way I feel right now about all that's happening I may just p^ss and sh^t on the table.


Long story short... A fellow licensed person that works with me failed to properly document AND cannot account for some stuff thats missing. When I brought it to their attention, their story changed about 30 times and when they were advised by the higher ups to "fix" the problem they fixed it by documenting it in a way that I am now accountable for "fixing" the problem or else it will look like I'm the one who mis-handled the stuff.

I've brought this matter to the attention of the higher ups and 1)they either don't get it or 2)don't want to get it.

There's going to be a round-table meeting tomorrow with all licensed parties and hopefully the culprit will be held accountable for this diplorable mess they've created.

Hope it went well for you!! One time when my employer wouldn't reduce my hours by a few hours a week so I could have the childcare I wanted, I told them I would have to give notice then, and THEN they let me work the 2.5 hours less I was asking for.

So, point being, hopefully they saw it your way and you came out on top!! And if not and you quit, I hope something better comes along very quickly.

Well, the meeting didn't exactly go as well as I had liked. They basically slapped the other party on the wrist. Which is just pathetic based upon the situation.

I did mention my desire to quit and the physician asked that I not do that right now. I discussed my concerns and displeasure over the actions of the other employee. He assured me that he would set things right. I'm gonna trust him for now, but believe you me if things don't change I will be gone. There's just too much at stake for stuff like that to be allowed to happen again.

Oh... and for what it's worth... There are random drug testing's going on for the employees. Not to worry though... the only thing they'll find in my system is Corona and popcorn. :D
