I thought this storm was going to be a nasty one. We had a lot of lightning all around and it rained lightly for a little bit but it wasn't very bad at all.

Is anyone else getting hammered?

The weather nerds in Wichita are jizzin' in their pants up here. It's like, "IT'S THE LAST ALMOST-A-STORM SO WE HAVE TO JUSTIFY THE $30 MILLION WE SPENT ON ALL THIS FANCY SHEEZAT!"

Thats the thinking of a weather guy. I did weather for several semesters before I wised up. I actually enjoy having a steady job AND make money at it.

You wont get rich chasing storms.
...but you can if you work on TV long enough and get good at creating panic during every storm...

The weather guy down here is from Lindsay and he is a high school football official as well (where my wife knows him from). He gets excited when there are storms up there since all we get here is torrential rains every once in awhile.
