thank god for NFL sunday ticket :pop: Peterson has looked pretty good today as he has all season, that 68 yard TD run brought back memories of his Sooner's days. He also had a 27 yard run earlier. They have only thrown to him once so far, which is frustrating, but it has come to be expected from Childress who is a rather crappy coach. Now only if my Vikings could get a couple of NFL quality WR's we'd be set :D

(On edit) Sorry for the repeat topic - but, if anyone deserves multiple posts, it would be Adrian.

So far, Adrian has scored on a 67 yard run in the first half and a 73 yard run in the third quarter. He is also returning ko....

He has been out running all of the Bears secondary.

Adrian is No. 28 and a man! Also, wears a new pair of shoes for each game.

AD's YPC average

2004 5.7(Chuck Long OC)
2005 5.0(Chuck Long OC but he was hurt most of the year even when he was playing, and we had new QB new WRs, probably the wrong QB playing for most of the year and he didn't play for about 5 games, also had a very poorly coached offensive line)
2006 5.4(Kevin Wilson OC)

We've seen magnificent running backs in this town, the best to play the game. Cedric Benson certifiably is not worthy of the tradition, which makes life difficult when you've wasted a high draft pick and about $20 million on a bust while the Minnesota Vikings are showcasing the next power-and-speed, bash-and-dash, Nintendo-game force
.
.
.

I have seen hope. His name is Adrian Peterson. And for the next decade or so, he'll be playing for a division rival while the Bears try to find someone who plays like him, not someone with merely the same name.

Pretty rough on Benson, not so rough on AD. :D

Didn't A.D. have more yards against Texas in his freshman year then Benson had against OU in three years? I know Benson didn't play his freshman year, but it wouldn't surprise me if A.D. had more that 1st game than Benson did in three. Benson and Chrissy Simms. Do they get any more over rated than those two wieners? At least Chrissy can blame the actual loss of body parts for the end of his career.

Benson did play a series or 2 his freshman year. He didn't reach 100 yards in 4 years against OU, i believe.
