... enjoy another five years of this or cough up the dough.

Note to college football teams everywhere... don't reward someone until they accomplish something.

Eh, the money is there to buy out the coach and staff if the decision is made.

Yes but you have to remember Royal, not only do you have to pony up the extra bucks to get rid of your cancer but then you have to pay the big bucks to get a new AD and coach. These are going to be some interesting times in Huskerland before this all plays out.

Commodity prices are very high right now which is huge for the Husker fan base. If there was ever a time we could afford to take the financial hit it would be now, especially if a guy like Dave Rimington was to become the new AD.

What qualifications does Rimington have to be AD?

His proven track record of fund raising while running a foundation, as well as not being Steve Pederson. We have good coaches in place in most sports, we just need to fix football.

Let's hope Nebs don't get there program upright for a couple of years. Don't we owe them a woppin' or two from our down years?

After that, all will be normalized. Normal beatings of Nebs.

F' them!

I remember a couple of arse whuppin's at the hands of those guys in our "transition years".

Kick them when they're down.

They'll be back soon enough.

Am I the only one who really would have liked to have still played Nebraska this weekend?

Oh, how nice a 70-point victory over them would make my holiday. :D
