In one poll we're tied with USF, and they won big against a really crappy team. We just beat a very good team. We should leapfrog USF.

If the pollsters agree that our win was the most "quality" win being that we were the only one to beat a ranked team (almost top 10 team), we may not only jump to #3 but may jump to #2 behind Ohio State.

What concerns me is that #1 LSU got beat by #17 Kentucky in three overtimes. Some pollsters may only drop them to #3 or #4.

LSA won't drop that far. Even though the pollsters definitely have a "what have you done for me lately?" mindset, a triple OT loss to a ranked SEC team won't drop them that far. If we're above them, its by 1 spot.

I agree about the zone D, but somehow Stoops has always been able to handle Tech. They scare me every year and aside from the robbery a couple of years ago, it's always been a pretty sound win. I'm on edge about them this year, but I'm typically on edge about every game.

I think we'll be #3, cause our win was the most impressive of the week...South Florida's schedule is a complete joke...and so is Ohio State's...and BC's too for that matter. It doesn't matter though cause I think Ohio State and BC will both lose. South Florida is the only team that worries me because they simply have no one left on their schedule that should be able to beat them. I mean, the toughest game left for them is Rutgers. :eek:

Could be but I dont think so . Ive said less milage gamblin all the time to eek out wins was gonna bite him and it did to night . We lost 1 game by 3 and have won every other game by a comfortable margin .lsu lost to a #17 team in 3 ots . We beat the #11 undefeated tem . We go up on em .

We may not be but we may not need to be either. If we can get to #2 in the BCS we just have to be better than whoever we play in New Orleans. I'll be honest, I hope it isn't LSU. If we get any of the other teams in the top 6-7 right now our chances are good.

I don't think BC or USF get recognized at this point. It is midway through the season and we beat two teams in the top 25. I know LSU lost in triple OT but they again did not look that great! OU had a quality win over a team that was a media favorite. Oh, and USF and BC will lose this year and the media knows this. Even Ohio State will probably lose this year. :D

OU will most likely win out. We will win the Big XII CCG and we will be a favorite for the National Championship. We lost early which is always good. I see OU winning out and playing for #8!!!

Maybe I'm missing something, but why should that be a concern? Shouldn't the #1 team in the nation be able to put away the #17 team in regulation play? My thought was that the more overtimes, the more LSU sank. Even if they ultimately won, which they didn't.

Of course, I'm not a sportswriter, nor do I play one on TV.

Not sure how close this is to the real thing that will be coming out but this is my guess.

We jump to the top of the 1 loss pile and ahead of Arizona St. Then we pass South Florida and Boston possibly because we are "OU". So my guess is in a range of 2-4 in the BCS pole that is coming out.
