Seems that they ripped on Texas a whole lot more than they ripped on us.

Either way, pretty damn funny.

The brokeback mountain jibe at the saxet guys was pretty funny... it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected it would be!

The best parts were the game highlights and the look on the players' faces while "Mr. Football" cheered them on in the half-and-half jersey.

that split jersey....wow TEXOONERS

On a mostly unrelated note ---

The bit solves the "Grisham throat slash" controversy. Despite what the Dallas Morning Fiction claims, Grisham did the horn sign, turned it down, then pointed to the "Sooners" across his chest, moving his hand back and forth. You could see it clearly on the Ross the intern bit.

too bad that Mr Sooner didnt know what a Sooner was.
and.... too bad that Sooner Son.... did.

I thought the whole thing was kinda funny.

The DMN gives us better press than "The Oklahoman" a lot of the time. We get as much ink in the DMN as Texas does and more than A&M or any other Big 12 team.

I agree about the Dallas Snooze and their above average coverage of the Sooners. However they make up for it by printing articles by writers such as that McMahon twit last weekend. I emailed and called him out, but he's got no stones. At least Galloway at the Star-Telegram will respond. He's still a d*ck with eyes, but he has responded to my emails. Might be because I sent it on my company email and he's trying to kiss my employer's azz since they own downtown FW and he might need a job in security or whatever he does for a living.

DMN does not beat the Oklahoman. There's something in the Oklahoman about OU football everyday. And quite a bit in the off season too.

I disagree. As long as Jenni Carlson doesn't write it, its OK. Seriously, compared to other cities, The Oklahoman is good, although they try hard to influence the audience vs. just reporting the news.

Ruby, you must be joking; the Oklahoman is toilet paper; then again toilet paper is clean when you first get it. The Oklahoman is always dirty.

Thanks for the links guys. I saw the ad for that while watching a program that was recorded previously that evening and was ****ed I missed it. My wife loves the fair (I hate it), I love football (she hates it)... I'll show her that clip and I wouldn't be surprised if she tells me to make plans for that game next year, I'll get to enjoy OU/Texas at the Cotton Bowl and it will be all for her!:)
