Yeah, Harrah's bought the Horseshoe just to get the wsop and immediately sold the casino. What would Benny think?

I love the casino. The nugget is still a nicer place to stay and I love what the Landry's guys have done with the pool. But, the old horseshoe (even binion's west - the old mint) is my favorite place to gamble.:pop:

That place went to hell after Becky took over. I used to love going there when Benny ran the place. $5 single-deck blackjack, laid back dealers, lots of comps and $4.99 steak dinner. Man. Those were good times.

I also dig the Main Street Station too. Glamor and glitz is fun, but I really enjoy the oldtime Vegas. Gimme Benny's anyday!

I don't think I ever once paid for a drink in that place. Never needed too. Those little metal clickers you could use to summon the waitress were very efficient.
