Thats what I'm thinking! If its not ok for her to do it in front of students, why is ok for the students to do it in front of anyone!???

Youtube is blocked at work.

Would somebody be so kind as to offer some kind of play-by-play?

TIA.

They should install a dancing pole in the classroom IMO. ;)

Cheer coach demonstrates the cheer her squad is going to perform for her Humanities class.

Maybe it was 'cause of her pom poms?

I didn't see anything remotely shocking. Heck, these days 13-year-olds make those kind of moves in dance team all the time. Not that it's good, but I don't see why a cheer coach would catch any grief at all for that.

I don't know what that had to do with humanities, but it didn't appeal to my prurient interest in the least. I think there must be more to this story. Maybe a mom that is mad her sweet little daughter didn't make the squad or something.

I have a kid in kindergarten and I don't see the big deal. It's not like she was giving the class a topless table dance. (Not that I would know anything about them)

they left off the part where she was taking dollars from the kids

That's the way I used to spend my lunch money.... back then it was just 2 bits.

I have no idea why she would feel the need to do that for her humanities class, but it seems like the school should've told her to not do it again and let that be the end of it. I suspect she kind of enjoys being one of the kids too much.

Call me old fashioned but I just don't understand why cheerleaders nowadays cant lead the crowds in cheers without grinding their buns.

So where do you see she got into trouble? I see nothing wrong with it either.

Whats the difference between her doing it and the cheerleaders doing it? Well I guess she is older than everyone else, maybe the administration is just tryin to avoid the teacher/student lovin.

That's not a real good way to get your student's respect. Especially the guys.

Thats what I'm thinking! If its not ok for her to do it in front of students, why is ok for the students to do it in front of anyone!??? Its not okay. Nobody, teachers and students included, should be grinding their junk on the property of learning institutions. Those cheerleaders and members of drill teams across America have some of the same dance moves as those poll dancers in the titty bars. Its not a real wholesome thing for the children in the stands to be around.

FWIW, I agree with you Ma, but what I am saying is that if the "standards" for the cheerleaders are that it is ok, then it should be no different for her.

This is just a stupid situation. And what some people call "Grinding their junk" others call "dance." Have you guys ever sat down and watched modern funk, jazz, hip-hop and other types of dance? What she did was tame, lame and absolutely NOTHING should have come of it.

There are too many uptight and overly conservative people running around with power and/or microphones right now trying to shove their morals/agendas down other American's throats. This is the land of the free, remember?

What a bunch of idiots.

The male population of that school had better rise up in fierce opposition of her unfair treatment. Careful, school board, hormones can be dangerous!
