Only an ox would be injured in such a fashion...

Dude, you could get everything from the toe sprain to the "accidental assault on the junk when the waistband snaps" to breaking stuff as you fall over in pain.

The guy I work with worked on a ladder all day long about a year ago with an air chisel rocking him around. He climbs down the ladder with loose shoe laces successfully. He leans over to tie his shoe, leans too far, falls on his air chisel. Air chisel freaks him out on the way down, he pulls his arm underneath him and he bites it hard.

1. Cut on forehead
2. Fractured collarbone
3. Three stitches to right wrist
4. Three bruises
5. Rolled ankle (on the opposite foot of the loose shoe laces).

I still give him hell about that. I was in a car accident (totalled Dodge truck) and came out injury-free a few days prior. :( :D

If your underwear didn't have holes in it then you would be fine.

It's still possible to hang a toe on the band of perfectly good underwear.

No mention of the concussion/skull fracture when falling on head due to above mentioned predicament.

And they still fit? You could end up strangulating your danglies wearing drawers you've owned for 13 years...unless you haven't put on weight since then.

I think the matching pair of hyperextended toe and dislocated thumb makes for a good story.
