Was about how the OU football program was dead. Yes, simply because we were rebuilding and had lost a few games we were dead, despite having great recruiting classes coming in and still having one Bob Stoops as head coach.

Now, as bad as '05 was for us, we have never lost 4 conference games in a row.

texas is dead.

Maybe if they fielded a women's football team. That way they could keep the team they've already got.

:D

If they fielded a women's football team, they might actually be more competitive...

the pomposity of the summer of 2000 at hornfans will never be matched. Mack was about to take UT to the next level and OU wasn't ever gonna be able to beat good teams with that gimmick offense. and after 63-14 and 5 years later....

hey big question of epic importance: Who was the team in the Big XII that was known as the Teachers? It was sometime in the 1800's or early 1900's. I want to say it was Nebraska before they became the bugeaters and then the cornhuskers.

Actually, those games, according to the NCAA's ruling, never existed. Therefore, we didn't win OR lose them. "Vacated" games are not the same as "Forfeited" games. Those games simply didn't happen.

I remember seeing crap like that on here after texass won the NC. How this was the worst thing to happen to us. How our recruiting base was going to dry up and all of the 4 and 5 stars were going to go to texass.

Granted, one of those posters was well recognized as mentally challenged and has since been banned.

Four conference losses in a row for Texas. Don't it just break your heart?

At least they have Iowa State this week.

If not for VY, it would have been dead for a very long time

Reading that Traber stuff reminds me of a friend that used to soil himself when OU would get down 8-0 in a basketball game. Why would anyone worry about Texass getting recruits. Mack would find a way to screw the pooch regardless of the talent pool just by trying to coach them. VY was turned loose and they won despite the coaching. Nick Zepp must be a mutant.

They love to hit women so that would make for a great womans football team.

Oh wait, that was Tom O's Nebraska teams. NM

Interesting comment from the fan of a team who was a J Charles fumble away from being on the business end of a 3 game losing streak to Texas.........

What does VY have to do with this?
He beat you once, McCoy beat you once.

That sounds like Aggie math; let's assume they score, so that means at worst it's a tie game at the end? Freakin :texan:

You're forgetting that Mack would have gone for two and put the game away

TX offense was rolling at the time. It was at worst a 14 point swing, at best a 10 point swing.

The ensuing drive after the recovery (which was a great defensive play) resulted in a TD.

And if OU would have been behind, we would have not gone into the prevent offense.

No it didn't; it reversed the field position after ou got i think 3 first downs, THEN the sooners scored the next time they had the ball to go ahead. :pop:
