I wouldn't be surprised to see that 9/13/08 date become a Directional buy-an-easy-win State.

JoeC's philosophy is one BCS-conference game, one mid-major, and one cash donation to an also-ran. Not sure how that works out now that we have four non-conference games, but the big game is Washington, and TCU and Cincy are both mid-majors. TH91 is right.

You will miss a better game on the 6th than the 13th. No kids? Sell her on traveling mid-week, i.e., off-peak, less crowds, cheaper, etc. Unless one of your employers insists on calendar week vacations. Then sacrifice the 13th.

If Notre Dame falls onto our schedule that week, you can have a full refund . . .:D

Teams have to play 12 games a season now. There are only 11 on that schedule.

With the teams already scheduled, I would be that weekend is a check game as previously mentioned. Looks like you should schedule a trip to Seattle around the weekend of 9/20.

Cincinnati is in the Big East, right? True, they are not a brand/old-money football power, but I don't know if they could be considered a 'mid-major' any more. Plus, they are in the top 15 and are undefeated - they are pretty decent this year. I saw them demolish Oregon State a few weeks ago.
