are two brilliant young quarterbacks and both played flat out today. I'm so happy that the Sooners came out with the win but I've got to give props to McCoy too.

Thanks Sooners! The Whorns have to shut up for a full year!

If UT manages to win the Big XII championship then I think they can talk smack at us.

Yes good game by both. The turning point was that interception by Mr. Mccoy.

I'll add my props to Colt. The kid's a tough gamer. The UT loss is certainly not on him.

The QB's were very well matched IMHO. I'm so proud of Sam, I could burst.

Both QBs left it all out on the field today. McCoy certainly didn't show an ill effects from his concussion last week.

CBSSports.com says it all...

OU-tstanding

Shootout? We don't call it that anymore. But there's a new sheriff in the Big 12. Freshman Sam Bradford outduels Texas' Colt McCoy and the No. 10 Sooners get back on track, taking the border battle 28-21

Colt M is a gamer. He's got some pretty good guys to throw it at too.

A huge part of the whorns loss can go to Charles. Colt McCoy did play well. You can kinda fault him for that one INT, but the RB had a good chance to catch that one, and really should have caught it. That turnover didn't mean too much either.

Hey, Colt hit a higher percentage of his passes for a LOT more yards. Good field vision. The INT was not really his fault, except for being a good 5 feet over his receiver's head.

Great game by both, but I wouldn't trade.

I tell you what I might get negged for this but I love some of the play calls that texas did. Those counters were pretty good.

I'm thinking that the next two RRS games might be legendary with those two dueling it out.

I certainly wouldn't mind seeing one or two of those out of the OU offense. Especially if we're going to run out of the shotgun to keep defenses honest. With the speed of our backs, any overpursuit by a defense is going to mean big yardage.

Ditto, the kid is a gamer he just needed a little more help. That said, I'm relieved he didn't get any.

I was pleased with the play calling and the effort overall. Much better than predicted by most. The turnover that hurt was not Colt's interception but Charles fumbling on the 5 yrd line. We score there and who knows? But if all it did was put us into OT I think our guys were gassed at the end.

Next year should be huge with your OL and Bradford and our OL grown up with Colt (or Chiles). This year for us looks a lot like your 2005 year. But I was really proud of the guys and whoever said that we can't talk for a year because we lost is dreaming! :D

What a gutty effort by McCoy, coming on the heels of another concussion.

Heh! My bad - should have known that a Texass fan never shuts up regardless of the outcome on the field. :P
