The Airbus A-380 "World's Fattest Plane" passed over the ICT this morning to salute those Wichitans who helped design the wing structure. I snapped this shot shortly before there was a partial eclipse of the sun. ;)

Airbus A300 > Boeing 747-400. At least for flying to Singapore and back. Screw those small *** seats with no leg room in the 747.

Airbus has built the only planes that have ever scared me flying. Are the wings really supposed to flap like mallards when encountering light turbulence? The Boeing's and McD-D's out there sure as hell don't!

Besides...who'd want to fly on planes where you risk the tail snapping off?

The Boeing NG's have composite wings like the scairbus.

I hate that trip.

I did the US-Tokyo-Singapore route last time, and it was much better.

And Singapore Airlines F'n rocks!

My dad works for teh Big Airlines, and I've been on every one in the fleet before several times. Never have I noticed any Mallard Like symptoms on the plane. When we flew on the 777 twice, we hit some turbulence, and they bounced a little bit, but a whole lot.

The tail incident scared me. On our way to Hawaii we hit a wake. It was different then regular turbulence. It was like going over a Ginormous air speed bump. It knocked **** around everywhere.

Spek for the Pic, BTW.
