Interesting stuff. They showed brief clips of the pressers at their individual hirings. Some Austin reporter asked :mack: back in 1997 if he "contacted Florida for Bob Stoops as a defensive coordinator."
IOW... don't ever let :texan:s tell you they didn't want Stoops.
Bob and Mack were classy as always in reference to the traditions and eachothers' accomplishments. Malcom Kelly said he would do a Red River Shootout rap if they won and he'd make Stoops dance to it. :D
Weird fact... they had Pat Jones (former OSU coach), and Jackie Sherrill (former aTm coach) doing the game breakdowns. I guess they didn't want to hear Darrell Royal whine or Switzer say "we're gonna whip their asses!" :D
Pat actually had a good breakdown that didn't require one single "by large, quite honestly" or "ah-ah-ah-I think." Impressive. :)
