OK what section if you could sit in would you?

Looking at buying seats to the game from stubhub and every section is open to sit in.

Thanks

We sit in 26 and love it...

I rather not sit....

I'd rather they take out those seats and put a milk crate in it's place.

No more of those alternating light blue and white sections of chairbacks. All just gray bench seating. This is an improvement, i guess....

I'm up in 125 this year, haven't seen a game from up there before. Last few times I was stuck low in the corner of section 1.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you cannot have sex on these benches.

Usually when stadiums rip out seats in favor of benches it means they're going to try and squeeze a few more butts into each row. Those seats were uncomfortable as hell but I'm not sure having to squeeze between 2 guys shoulders to stand up and cheer is going to be an improvement.

Those seats would rub the back of my calves.

I've left there with bruises everytime.

I agree that the benches probably won't be much of an improvement.

Lets hope for the best thOUgh.

Section 24, seat 1 and low enough so as not to be behind a pole.

I was a big fan of jumping up and down on a big play and bashing my shin into the seat in front of me. NICE!

Sounds like a bet.

I am saddened by the removal of the traditional blue and white seats in every other section.

I used to love watching that alternating pattern emerge from the sea of burnt orange in the north end of the Cotton Bowl as the 'horns fans would leave right after halftime..... :)

BOOMER!

at least we will be standing on benches instead of folding seats now... that sucked

i liked Section 5, and 24 i think. i've been right behind both teams, Row 0 for the Sooners in 2004, that was awesome. in 2002 i was really close to the Texas bench, we gave Chrissy hell. i guess right behind the Texas bench would be my choice. they are the home team this year, i think

There is supposedly 5 more inches of leg room in each row now.

The benches are a blessing as there was never anywhere to put your bevy. I broke the skin on the seatback in front of me in 03.

I'm in 24, row 53. I don't know if I've got any pillars in front of me or not. Alls I know is that right next door will be a bunch of peckerwoods wearing orange. Nothing would warm the cockles of my heart more than being able to spread out over there by about the 3rd quarter...

I guess I know where to find you now. Though I'm not sure I want to see your cockles or their peckerwoods... :D

Heh! Are you really getting in at 2 am, or sometime earlier whereby there might be libation thrown your way? After game plans?

Does an * next to your seat number mean you are behind a post or is it an aisle seat? I am hoping it means aisle. Section 27, seat number 16 is the seat I have with a * next to it.

Yeah, we're not leaving Lexington until the kid's football game is over. Lately, it's been about 10:30 or so. Peem me your cell # and I'll see what we're doing to celebrate our massive victory Saturday night. Historically, we've always gone back to the hotel, taken over the lobby, and order about 15 pizzas delivered.

No, it means they know you're a roid head.

How come you don't take the RV OU-Texas and hang out in the RV parking area, Deaner?

Cause I'm not retarded?

Many years ago I had a Suburban get the OU magnets all sliced up (into the paint), and the guy who was parked in front of me with OU stuff on it got his tires slashed. The only way I'd take the RV is if I was going to stay there and watch the game. Too many ****wads to leave it out there without guarding it.

I see.

A few of us rented an RV one year and parked there. Everyone was a good sport about it, at least where we were. We had a good time and there was no traffic and BS after the game since we hung around the RV area.

Of course, the next day, the driver turned it into the back of a parked tractor trailer but that's another story.

Metal benches eh? Hope it stays warm. I remember my *** nearly froze to the metal bench I was sitting on during the rose bowl parade in 2003.
