Do they allow tailgating at the Cotton Bowl? I've been before, but never remember tailgating in the parking lots. Making my plans, need to know the lay of the land. Thanks.

you can not cook out near the fair ground... if you are off site you can. Why would you? Why not go in and tailgate on the N or S side of the cotton bowl with the other 85K people... You have food and beer there.. plus you can yell at people.

agreed... go to the fair and get the full OU/saxeT experience. Tailgating can wait until another day

you have a whole fair park full of all kinds of heart stopping foods, why would you wanna tail gate. and you can flip the texas players off

There is a whole area setup for tailgating, Motorhomes, etc...it is great...then the fair and everything else is great too... then the game and post-game...all great stuff...
