For you guys at least.

I've had to take a week's vacation to come back up here and handle a few things with the Missus, so I'm rolling back a class in nav school. That means there won't be a cross country the weekend of the Big XII title game. So, pending OU pulls their collective heads outta their collective asses, I can help with the tailgating again!

Oh...and does anyone have suggestions as to things to do in the Estes Park, Colorado area this weekend (after watching the OU/saxeT game)? After all the crap we've been through thus far, we're taking a much needed three day trip to the mountains that she's been nagging me for a year over.

I don't doubt it. SAS, you wanna help with the tailgate if we make it to the CCG?

Yah, I know. The Missus gave me a list of "honey-do" projects since I'm up here for the week. Here's what I've done thus far:
1. built two corner gardens in our backyard
2. dig out dead willow and oak trees in front yard
3. buy and plant creap myrtle where dead willow was
4. build garden shed in backyard (including installation of 70 square feet of pave stone)
5. install more floorboard in attic space for storage

And here's what I've got left to do before Friday:
1. mow, trim and edge yards
2. clean out and reorganize pantry
3. clean out and reorganize garage
4. tear out carpet in dining room and install wood laminate flooring

I'll get all but #4 done by tomorrow, but that one's gonna take some help...probably from my FIL.

Then we get to go play in the mountains for the weekend...

Interesting, didn't know that. Apparently he was inspired to write the story while staying there.

Either way, cool hotel. lol
