I'm just glad it's not 5 out of 6. I was not in a good place mentally while the ball was in the air on the last pass against OSU last year.

I wouldn't say the Oregon game was determined on the last play.

Soonerus
10/1/2007, 07:09 PM
Hartley missed the game winning FG effort on last play, so that one counts...

sanantoniosooner
10/1/2007, 07:10 PM
yeah, but it was determined before the game started.

CU -last play
BSU- last play
Texas not -last play
Oregon -last play (not) BS calls
T. Tech -last play (not) BS calls nobody from OU should be held accountable for the last 2 rob jobs.

Oregon, Boise and CU apply...not UT...

That's it 4 out of the last 5...brutal...tough on the fans...

2 of those included games that the refs weren't going to give us. Both Oregon and Tech had 2 easy calls that were screw jobs. Tech even had a 3rd that was so obviously not a catch they had to reverse it.

Better than a 20 point blowout at home or an 18 point blowout at a new D-IA school who plays other schools for a payday.

But remember, if the OU coaches play balls out instead of ULTRACONSERVATIVE those OU leads are stretched out and it does not come down to 1 play or the refs. IMO

How many of the last second games have we won though? Baylor in OT 2005, A&M on the road last year, Oregon in 05... That means we are 3 and 4 in games decided in the last minute....

4. Oklahoma. Expect the Sooners to beat Texas in Dallas this Saturday and Missouri in Norman on Oct. 13, rising back up the rankings. Oklahoma is four plays short of being 25-1 over its past 26 games, having lost to Colorado (last week), Boise State (Fiesta Bowl), Oregon (September 2006) and Texas Tech (November 2005) all on the final play. The only defeat that didn't come at the gun was a 28-10 loss to Texas last year.

If you are an intellect and believe in the laws of average, you would think OU might start being on the end of these last play games.

When your the Favorite every week and you lose one close one every now and then....

It shows just how good you really are....

Some teams get beat by 20 at Home...

We lose a few close ones on the road...

I know some folks can't stand us dropping one...but it just goes to show how close we are to having another 2000 crystal trophy IMO...

It would be awesome if Bob could put together a Team that would win 4 MNCs in a row....
