View Full Version : Iggy. WTH was he thinking on that controversial BS in the EZ?

where he cruised across the endzone with the KO. It just seemed to typify the whole day. There was no way to make a play, and all it did was fire up CU. Just way, way, way too cocky with the talk and not the walk. He's lucky he didn't get blindsided and fumble before he could take a knee. I don't know by rule how the zebras would've called that, but I would've given them 6. As close to taunting as I've ever seen that wasn't (or couldn't be called). I'm glad the the refs explained that on-the-field, and the announcers explained it on the DVR playback, because after viewing it on the DVR, I thought they blew the call until it was explained, and really happy they didn't have a camera shot parallel to the EZ--still not sure the ball didn't come out of the endzone.
Speaking of replay. HitH could the replay official reverse this shoesting catch call if they had the same views as was sent out over the air? I couldn't see any clear evidence on the broadcast where it could've been reversed. I think that was a "home-cooking" replay call, but again, I don't know if the replay offical had any other views that weren't broadcast, but it looked like a homer replay call to me. I still think both competing teams need representatives in the booth to monitor/ but not comment on the replay process. Image shack appears to be down so if the hotlink doesn't show here's the link. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/photos?photoId=1698085&gameId=272720038http://assets.espn.go.com/media/apphoto/1e53caa9-9c96-4b05-a2b0-02950297c2a8.jpg

close call, but the ball didn't come entirely out of the end zone...that was quite possibly the most illogical play I've seen in quite some time...

I think it was a mind game. He was trying to screw with the CU coverage team.
