I'd feel better knowing the team was focusing on beating texas for the time being. One game at a time. Sort of like last year when we had our backs to the wall and took them one by one and did just fine. Until the last game anyway. All else will be as it will be in the end.

Depends on how convincingly we win out, assuming we do.

But, overall, yes.

There are several teams that would deserve that shot before us becaus of who the loss was against. CO plain and simple ain't very good folks. We played like shat against a mediocre team. Based on OUr last BCS bowl appearances we won't get a sniff of the sugar if we run the table unless about 5 or 6 of the top teams teams end up with 2 losses.

Wouldn't you say that kinda depends on how strong CU continues to play?

absolutely. and it depends on who these teams lose to.

if florida loses to a 2-2 auburn team, our loss on the road might look better. but yeah it there are alot of factors involved.

Hopefully LSU will lose to florida next week, and maybe SUC will trip up against cal or oregon.

If those things happen, and we pretty much blow out most of our remaining opponents, we still have a chance.

It also depends on how late in the season the other top teams lose too, assuming they do. USC's tough games are at the end of the season, so if they lose one of those, they are done. Same with LSU and Florida. Generally speaking, we're not totally out of it yet.
