Why is it when we are up by 50, we run reverses and reverse passes

we get in a game where we can't move the ball in the second half and our only 2 plays our sweep left and incomplete pass to Iglesias.

I think I'd rather see Jack Spates as our secondary coach at least we'd be able to shoot double legs on the WR's as they run by us.
