Go 'Cats. I wouldn't mind handing Texas its first loss next week but it's always a great day whenever the 'Horns go down.

yeah, i'm torn on this one. it would be nice if they stumble to k-state just in case texass upsets us next week. right now, it's all about the big 12 championship and hoping the chips fall in place for a spot in the bcs championship game.

I don't care what they think anyway.

They are getting schooled on their home field.

It's pretty obvious that McCoy is hurt. I'm shocked that their coaches have kept him in there.

They definitely are making their case...

I think we might have really p*ssed them off....

:D

BTW...

The KSU throttling of Texas really takes the sting out of our road loss for me....

Yes they did, I got a text from someone at the UT game right after they showed the final score at DKR about 5 minutes after the OU-CU game ended.

From Austin American-Statesman (http://www.statesman.com/blogs/content/shared-gen/blogs/austin/longhorns/entries/2007/09/29/mccoy_suffered.html):

McCoy suffered mild concussion
By Suzanne Halliburton | Saturday, September 29, 2007, 08:39 PM

Texas quarterback Colt McCoy suffered a mild concussion in the Kansas State loss Saturday.

According to UT officials, McCoy will be evaluated again early next week to see if he can play against Oklahoma.

McCoy left the game before halftime, but returned and played much of the second half. He was pulled again late in the fourth quarter after he started throwing up on the sidelines.

McCoy was in the trainers’ area for more than hour after the game and was not available for interviews. However, he gave a statement that was issued by the Texas sports information staff.

He did not say anything about his injury, but complimented the K-State defense, which picked off four of his passes.

“Now we need to regroup,” he said. “keep working hard and get ready for Oklahoma. That’s always a huge game and with both of us losing this week, we’re both going to want to get back on the winning track.”

This goes to show we are still the favorite heading into Dallas. We have the "Dam, let that road game slip away" come back fever. Texas has the "Dam we really suck and are finally getting flushed down the toilet" lose another game montra. :texan:

I agree that we'll win, but to continue the toilet metaphor, we need to remember that sometimes there's a floater that takes a few flushes. We'll win as long as the coaches make sure the players know this and know to take 'em all seriously...even the faghorns.
