SETTING THE STAGE: This afternoon's contest is the second of two games between Oklahoma and Lindenwood this weekend...Oklahoma jumped out to a 5-1 lead last night and hung on to beat Lindenwood 5-3 in the first game of the series...Lindenwood's broadcast of today's game will be joined in progress immediately after the conclusion the Lindenwood football game against Georgetown, which begins at 1:30 P.M.



OKLAHOMA NOTES: Forward Doug Gebbie (Frisco, TX) scored twice for the Sooners last night...Forward Daniel Siira (Anchorage, AK) scored on Oklahoma's first penalty shot of the season yesterday in the second period...Forwards Greg Curtiss (Flint, MI) and Jarrod Yost (Murphy, TX) also scored goals for OU yesterday...Goaltender Rob Mattison (Bartlesville, OK) stopped 30 of 33 shots last night...Forward Keith Denton (Vail, CO) tallied two assists for OU yesterday...Siira's penalty shot goal turned out to be the winning goal...The Sooners were whistled for eight penalties compared to two for the Lions...Oklahoma now has a 6-4-0 all-time record against Lindenwood...Oklahoma is now 4-1-0 against Lindenwood on the road.



LINDENWOOD NOTES: The Lions got two goals yesterday from forward Jake Ebner...Forward Carson Hamill added a power play goal for Lindenwood in the third period...Starting goaltender Grahame Lippert allowed four goals in 28 minutes before Lindenwood head coach yanked him in favor of freshman Rob Cavillari...Lindenwood has a few common opponents with Oklahoma this season: Liberty, Iowa State and Central Oklahoma.
