Took him to the vet, they did xrays, and the bone is mending well.
However, due to the proximity of the break to the femur/whatever bone,
they want to leave the pins and apparatus in for six more weeks.
But he's a great dog, he's adapted very well and very quickly to the family.
To get him to take his medicine, we put it in a "cheese burrito".
Take a piece of bread, squirt some cheese in a can stuff on it, put the meds in it, roll it up.
He never knows he just gobbled his medicine down.
Slickdaughter loves making his cheese burritos for him.
