Slickwillie update

Took him to the vet, they did xrays, and the bone is mending well.

However, due to the proximity of the break to the femur/whatever bone,
they want to leave the pins and apparatus in for six more weeks.


But he's a great dog, he's adapted very well and very quickly to the family.

To get him to take his medicine, we put it in a "cheese burrito".

Take a piece of bread, squirt some cheese in a can stuff on it, put the meds in it, roll it up.
He never knows he just gobbled his medicine down.

Slickdaughter loves making his cheese burritos for him.

I've been thinking about getting a dog. A poodle or some sort of small dog. I figure if ph can tolerate pink flamingos in his yard, he can tolerate another dog. :D
