Did you ever think you would see ND on a bottom 10 list? Kentucky is 4-0 and does not get near as much chatter. PUH-Leeeeeeeeez! Is ND STILL worth talkin about?!!

they're locked away in a warehouse with the arc of the covenant and the 2005 season.

1-11 is more realistic. they'll find a way to beat navy in the 6th OT.

Ah yeah, 0-4 brings back some sweet (bittersweet) memories of that glorious 1996 October day when James Allen reached over that Cotton Bowl goal line in OT...priceless

Hmmm... our two creampuff opponents (North Texas and Utah State) are in the bottom 10.

No, no, this is a year in which I intend to bring ND up ceaselessly. And I intend to revisit ND's 2007 season for perhaps the balance of my life. And immortalize in the writings I will bequeath to future generations.

Unless or until those bastidges' spirit is so totally destroyed that they simply give up college football.

There are rivals, there are enemies and then there are those whose villages you burn to the ground, prior to plowing the earth with salt so that nothing will ever grow there again.

What I just saw on TV up here in Chicago has to be seen to believed but I will attempt to do it justice. Notre Dame is running an ad featuring a lot of "highlights" designed to encourage fans to watch their games. Now they have no shortage of fans up here, but what struck me was the slogan at the end of the ad:

"Notre Dame: football the way it was meant to be played"

I don't even know what to do with that, so have at it.

While we're at it, can we hope that at the end of it all they cancel their football program and focus on lacrosse?
