Are you on the laptop right now? Turn it off man! Water won't hurt anything if you let it dry completely while the laptop is off.
water + electricity = BAD

yeah, but you wouldn't want to call and have to deal with the rejects at dell to get a refund. like the leftovers of the IT world.

That's nothing compared to the beer I spewed out my nose after looking at a Mike Gumndy fark a few months back. It stung so bad when I did that I jumped and knocked the beer can over on it, too.
I had a virus a few days later, unrelated I know... but it went away thanks to my AV program. I just figured it felt the same way I do when I'm fulla beer. I think my computer likes me now. I got it drunk. :D

Use some of that canned air on it. That's what I did when I spewed some water on my PC keyboard at work a couple of months ago. It does a good job of moving the little droplets of water.
